Wyeast 2124 Bohemian Lager yeast strain ferments clean and malty, with rich residual maltiness in full gravity lagers. A versatile yeast from the Weihenstephen. Apparent attenuation: 69-73%. Flocculation: medium. Optimum temp: 48°-58° F

NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

The yeast worked surprisingly fast, with Kreusening appearing in the 2nd day after pitching. Fermentation temperature at constant 55 deg F. Active airlock action tailed off quickly at day six. Post lagered brew was the envy of my brewing friends.

Brewed a Czech Pilsner and it turned out delicious. Tastes almost exactly like the Pilsner Urquell I had in Prague!!

Great all around Lager yeast

I used this on a Vienna lager last year and it turned out great and I didn't do a full lager. I decided to use it on Bavarian Dunkel, we'll see how that turns out.
