Product details

Wyeast 1099 Whitbread Ale is a yeast strain with a mildly malty and slightly fruity fermentation profile; not as tart and dry as 1098 and much more flocculant. Clears well without filtration. Apparent attenuation: 68-72%. Flocculation: high. Optimum temp: 64°-75° F

*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

It’s fine - if you want to wait 3 weeks

It’s a fine yeast if you can tolerate NB absurd shipping delays. I’ll be getting my supplies from a different company in the future.

Great liquid yeast especially for good English Pale Ale.

Perfect Fit

I used this and would not change it for this style of beer (for the most part). Great color and flavor

Damn good yeast

Used a double does in a 1.100 barley wine fermented above 75 degrees. Fermented well off the bat and stayed good in the bottle for years afterward. A little hard to tell what yeast characteristics it provided with all the other stuff flying around, but it had good flocculation with specified attenuation.
