High marks for the ball lock keg
The keg is easy to use, easy to clean, and most importantly it works great! I’ve purchased three of them from Northern Brewer and I may end up with a fourth.

Are the poppets universal for both gas and liquid posts if they get switched?
Zach W on Mar 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Universal poppets will work. Type A poppets work in the stock posts as well, though if you replace posts then you may need Type B on the gas side.
where are these manufactured?
Jeremiah S on Oct 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't know. But it does the job.
With gas and beer lines connected, will this fit in a fridge with interior height of 25.75"?
Nick R on Oct 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That would be close. With disconnects on it is roughly 25" so you should just have enough room.
Are the lids universal with soda kegs? Will a corny keg carbonating led fit this keg?
Sherry A on Jan 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yep! They fit my older soda keg perfectly.
Can the co2 cartridges be used to pour if priming sugar is used to carbonate?
Joshua T on Apr 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I suppose you could do that; however, the advantage of kegging is that there is no sediment (yeast) in kegged, force carbonated beer. Factoring in the cost of CO2 cartridges, you will be money ahead just buying a CO2 tank and regulator from the start and force carbonating.
