An outstanding beer!!! Perfect malt with fantastic smoke notes at 30 ml additive. In fact, won judges choice in smoked beer style at recent homebrew competition.
Not a good beer. To malty, bacon flavor is gone in two weeks. Just a lot of hype for a little 30ml of additive.
I was making it and the table broke so I didn't get to make it!!
This was my first attempt at all grain. I had previously done the Bacon Smoked Ale as an extract kit, which received rave reviews. Not sure how this will turn out. Still needs another week + in bottle conditioning. Initial tests and tastes indicate this will be a good brew, too.
