hop pellets vs whole hops

I recently brewed a batch of beer using Triple Pearl hop pellets instead of whole hops as I usually do. While the results were outstanding, the pellets dissolved into millions of hard to strain out pieces making for a cloudy finished beer. Still a great taste though.

Great in pils

Around 35 IBU in a 1.054 OG pils resulted in a flavorful, traditional tasting beer. Started out a little bitter but mellowed out with conditioning. Impressed with the hops from this producer!
