This a great fermentor. The one thing I wish I would have known is the need for a connector to regulate the removal of trub through the bottom valve.

Anvil crucible
They work really well. I purchased two. One of them, while full and being moved, the entIre leg cradle fell off. This suggests the leg cradle is not adhering well to the stainless steel vessel. This may be a one off. Before I use that particular one again I will add a bead of RTV sealant to the inside of the leg cradle and reinstall the stainless vessel. That should do the trick.

Awesome product!
I was using a fast ferment plastic conical and had tons of trouble with leaking, difficult valves, and lid sealing. I also had no use for the $600+ ss fermenters with all the bells and whistles in my basement set up. I found this and have been incredibly happy with it's performance and price. Don't hesitate, great fermenter.
