Pilsner malt review....

I made a very delicious German pilsner with this malt, it has a good flavor. I also threw in some home-grown hops for aroma. I will be making this brew many more times. Yummmmmm........Brewdog333

Consistently Exceptional

Having used my 5th bag of this Salzgitter malt for home-brewing I can say I am a happy repeat customer. I buy the highest quality ingredients I can source for my batches and this one is a choice I keep going back to after occasionally trying some domestic and European alternatives. There may be an heirloom producer I am not aware of with equivalent quality but to my taste this sourcing is among the very best I've purchased.

Excellent results.

I use this malt in a Bitburger Pils clone recipe, along with Wyeast 2124 Bohemian Lager yeast. I get excellent results.

Kolsch style

I brewed with it as the base malt in my latest kolsch style along with Vienna and rye adjuncts. The brew is clean and clear, the efficiency and gravity is very impressive and I'll use it again.

Makes a great Hefeweizen…..

I always use German Pils malt for my Hefeweisens. I like the flavor it gives, and it also makes a great Munich Helles…. Brewdog333
