London English Ale Dry Yeast

I am very happy with the IPA and the yeast worked beautifully. It always takes off quickly and blow-off tubes are essential. The beer has a nice balance of bitterness and malt.

The son of Red Triangle Ale was born!

LalBrew® London English Ale Dry Yeast produced an amber ale very reminiscent to and yet with a little stronger flavor than that popular beer with the red triangle trademark. After pitching into 68°F, oxygenated wort, fermentation started in about 10 hours. Airlock bubbling activity slowed down after 3 days. Final gravity was 1.007 after 8 days in the glass carboy. Lallemand documentation states this yeast is a low flocculator! Perhaps the low flocculation aided the quick fermentation. The yeast produced a beer with gentle tropical flavors and a light apple cider finish. Brewing water was Burtonized. Michigan hops with fruity and earthy attributes provided synergy with the yeast flavors. Biscuit malt, caramel 20L, caramel 190L, and an ounce of light roasted barley provided malt flavors. London English Ale Dry Yeast made a deliciously tasty, enjoyable and easy drinking session beer!

Good working yeast and good for Best Bitter

I rehydrated in go ferm a few minutes before pitching time and it took off fairly quickly. I made a Best Bitter and it came out delicious. I would use this one again

It stalled out after a day, at 68 degrees bumping it to 70 did nothing, no activity at all, luckily I had S-04 from an equipment kit.

Pretty pretty good

Used a couple times now for a basic ESB. Starts quick, ferments well and produces a smooth pint. I do bloom it at 90° first as a best practice. For the comparative price, I'll keep using it.
