While it could be considered a favorite of at least one of the founding fathers, this ale strain from the Northeast can be used to reproduce American versions of classic beer styles. Similar neutral character of West Coast Ale I, but less attenuation, less accentuation of hop bitterness, slightly less flocculation, and a little tartness. Very clean and low esters. Great yeast for golden, blonde, honey, pales and German alt style ales.
|Yeast Disclaimer||We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts. It is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.|
